Tech nowadays is so into our life, people nowadays, in literal sense, don't think.
Your brain is constantly giving attention to different things, never allowed to relax, be it your phone, music, work, games, etc.
To such extent that you never think, constantly consuming something or other.
Your brain's main objective as an organ is to think,there's a saying, "use it or loose it".
It applies to everything in our body, if you stop using your hands, it will eventually get weaker to the point it is no longer working.
same with muscles.
same with any other organ.
same with brain.
if you strip away your brain from thinking <it's main objective>
Keep in mind, thinking is also the ONLY edge us humans have above any other speicies in this ENTIRE PLANET.
then you are devolving yourself.
I wont be suprised if in a decade or so, we end up seeing some humans with the same iq with that of a monkey.
A normal person nowadays is almost NEVER thinking. He is always busy consuming something or other, videos, books, music, etc; even knowledge.
Am i saying thats a bad thing? no. We learn alot of stuff by cosuming knowledge but not to the extent where all you do is consume.
This has gotten monumentally worse becuase of AI, don't get me wrong, i myself am doing engineering in ai, i advocate for ai myself.
But 99.9 percent people are using it the wrong way.
We are at this point letting AI do the thinking work for us, and thats BAD.
AI works on provided data, it doesn't think.
If you had asked it before the invention of airplanes "can we make a vehicle which can fly", considering the data it has, it woul have said "no".
At the end of the day, we created all this from sticks and stones, working as switches, gates; and then putting everything together.
AI boils down to series of logic gates turning on and off, that's it.
Now you must be thinking, alright tharv, we get it. Now what's the solution.
It's simple really.
Just be bored.
It's an addiction; we have to consume something or other, or else, we get the "withdrawl symptoms".
Just stare at a wall for 30 mins, heck try to do it for 5 mins. I dare you.
It's difficult. But you will get better at it the more you practice.
Easier form of this is to go for a walk, no music, no phone, nothing. Just you.
At first nothing really happens, it's boring, but then slowly your thoughts starts to pour in.
"ALR, what's for today's schedule?"
"What am i even doing with my life"
Thats great, you are starting to think, human.
And coming to the solution for ai, don't delegate the task you feel is hard direclty to ai.
First give it some time, really try to do it yourself, if you REALLY CAN'T
Then tell ai the problem you are facing, but instead of asking the solution, tell it to ask YOU questions which will lead you the answer.
Answer everything by yourself, ask yourself how can i do it.
Even if that doesn't help then go on the internet instead and see if you find your solution there.
and in the end if even that doesnt work, go to the ai as everyon does as the VERY LAST OPTION.
